Full details will be supplied with the tender documentation. The duration of this contract may be extended by 2 years or part thereof. The vehicle capacity, operational mileage and provision of supervisory staff may be varied by agreement in response to changed passenger demand. With reference to section IV.2 above, The Council does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender. Private hire/hackney carriage: the vehicle(s) operating this contract must, at all times, be no older than 10 (ten) years from the date of first registration. Larger vehicles: the vehicle(s) operating this contract must, at all times, comply with Euro III emissions (1999/96/EC) either via original manufacture specification or via the retro fitting of emissions reducing equipment.
