The Authority has a requirement for the manufacture, inspection, testing and delivery of wedge shaped copper conductors for the MAST Upgrade Centre Rod.

The works are to be carried out in an acceptably safe and environmentally responsible manner and all personnel are to be suitably qualified and experienced for the nature of the contract.

This is a voluntary notice for a requirement below the threshold for the application of the regulations for a supply contract.

Manufacture, inspection, testing and delivery of wedge shapped copper conductors for the Mega Amp Shperical Tokamak (MAST) Upgade Centre Rod at Culham Science Centre.

27 conductors of 5.2 metres plus or minus 0.01 metres are required, manufactured in silver bearing copper to DIN 17666 each with a single integral draining channel.
